SUMMARY:Zentangle® Beyond Basics Class - Shades of Grey - ONLINE
DESCRIPTION:Note: This class is open to anyone who has previously taken an Introduction to Zentangle class with Laurel Storey\, CZT® (Certified Zentangle Teacher®)\, or another Certified Zentangle Teacher®. \n“Beyond Basics – Shades of Grey” will be taught by Laurel Storey\, CZT® (Certified Zentangle Teacher®). Zentangle art really comes alive with that final touch of adding your “shades of grey.” This Beyond Basics class will look into all the paths you can take with your pencil once the tangling is done. Students will learn tangles that have unique shading options and see how simple\, subtle shading techniques can transform your work and totally change the integrity of your tile. This class will isolate the shading process and show students how a single graphite pencil has the ability to produce not just one colour but many. Students will learn to add tones from the barely there grey to the darkest charcoal and everything in between. \nThis ONLINE class will be hosted on Zoom\, with login information sent via e-mail to registered students. Supplies are NOT included in the cost of online classes. Students will be provided with a full list of required supplies (including alternative options)\, and may opt to either provide their own or purchase supplies online from Laurel for local (Windsor\, Ontario) pickup. \nIMPORTANT: Students wishing to sign up for all four online “Beyond Basics” classes offered in March and April\, 2025 may do so for a reduced price by taking advantage of the Zentangle® Beyond Basics Class Bundle – ONLINE option.
