SUMMARY:Zentangle®-Inspired Art (ZIA) Class – Stained Glass Heart Nouveau©
DESCRIPTION:Note: Introduction to Zentangle provides the foundation for all of Laurel’s Zentangle and Zentangle-Inspired Art (ZIA) offerings and is an ideal starting point for new students. While completion of an introductory class is recommended\, students are welcome to register for any of Laurel’s classes regardless of prior experience. \nThe “Stained Glass Heart Nouveau©” concept was developed by Annie Reiser\, CZT® and originally presented to a group of Certified Zentangle Teachers® at an online “CZT Zoom Treff” workshop. The Stained Glass Heart Nouveau© class offered by Laurel Storey\, CZT at in-person sessions only in Windsor\, Ontario is inspired by Annie’s original design and shared with permission. \nIn this Zentangle-Inspired Art (ZIA) class taught by Laurel Storey\, CZT® (Certified Zentangle Teacher®)\, students will work on a Zentangle Zendala (4-5/8″/117mm round) paper tile tinted with pigment dyes in a colour scheme of their choice\, creating an intricate organic tangled design and using ink and shading techniques to achieve a stained glass effect. Required supplies will be provided and/or available for use in class.

DESCRIPTION:Join Laurel Storey\, CZT® (Certified Zentangle Teacher®) for a fun\, informal opportunity to socialize and tangle together! \nTen Thousand Tangles Creative Community Tangle Club (“Tangle Club” for short) gatherings are normally held once a month on a Sunday afternoon at Artful3 Studio. Participants are given the freedom to explore the month’s project or theme\, with direction and/or instructions provided by Laurel\, or work on their own individual tangle project if desired. \nAll required tools and supplies for the monthly project are normally provided by Laurel for use during the Tangle Club session. SUMMARY:Ten Thousand Tangles Creative Community Tangle Club
DESCRIPTION:Join Laurel Storey\, CZT® (Certified Zentangle Teacher®) for a fun\, informal opportunity to socialize and tangle together! \nTen Thousand Tangles Creative Community Tangle Club (“Tangle Club” for short) gatherings are normally held once a month on a Sunday afternoon. These sessions are less structured than regular Zentangle® and Zentangle-Inspired Art classes\, and are open to all regardless of previous Zentangle experience. Participants are given the freedom to explore the month’s project or theme\, with direction and/or instructions provided by Laurel\, or work on their own individual tangle project if desired. \nAll required tools and supplies for the monthly project are normally provided by Laurel for use during the Tangle Club session. SUMMARY:Introduction to Zentangle®
DESCRIPTION:Note: This class is a prerequisite to all other Zentangle classes. \n“Introduction to Zentangle” will be taught by Laurel Storey\, CZT® (Certified Zentangle Teacher®)\, and will provide a beginner with a background in the history of Zentangle\, introduce them to the basic steps of the method\, and expose them to associated vocabulary and tools used. Students will be immersed in learning tangle patterns as they create actual Zentangle paper “tiles” and will leave with a clear understanding that\, “Anything is possible one stroke at a time.”® \nAn “Introduction to Zentangle” supply kit will be provided to registered students when they arrive at class. Students may keep this kit to continue their Zentangle practice at home\, and should bring it to any future in-person advanced “next level” classes. \nIntroductory classes run for approximately 2.5 to three hours.

SUMMARY:Ten Thousand Tangles Creative Community Tangle Club
DESCRIPTION:Join Laurel Storey\, CZT® (Certified Zentangle Teacher®) for a fun\, informal opportunity to socialize and tangle together! \nTen Thousand Tangles Creative Community Tangle Club (“Tangle Club” for short) gatherings are normally held once a month on a Sunday afternoon. These sessions are less structured than regular Zentangle® and Zentangle-Inspired Art classes\, and are open to all regardless of previous Zentangle experience. Participants are given the freedom to explore the month’s project or theme\, with direction and/or instructions provided by Laurel\, or work on their own individual tangle project if desired. \nAll required tools and supplies for the monthly project are normally provided by Laurel for use during the Tangle Club session. Participants may also wish to bring their own selection of preferred items including Pigma Micron pens\, Gelly Roll pens\, graphite pencil\, white charcoal pencil\, tortillions\, coloured pencils\, watercolours or watercolour pencils and brush\, etc.
