Zentangle®-Inspired Art (ZIA) Class – Stained Glass Heart Nouveau©

Note: Introduction to Zentangle provides the foundation for all of Laurel’s Zentangle and Zentangle-Inspired Art (ZIA) offerings and is an ideal starting point for new students. While completion of an introductory class is recommended, students are welcome to register for any of Laurel’s classes regardless of prior experience.

The “Stained Glass Heart Nouveau©” concept was developed by Annie Reiser, CZT® and originally presented to a group of Certified Zentangle Teachers® at an online “CZT Zoom Treff” workshop. The Stained Glass Heart Nouveau© class offered by Laurel Storey, CZT at in-person sessions only in Windsor, Ontario is inspired by Annie’s original design and shared with permission.

In this Zentangle-Inspired Art (ZIA) class taught by taught by Laurel Storey, CZT® (Certified Zentangle Teacher®), students will work on a Zentangle Zendala (4-5/8″/117mm round) paper tile tinted with pigment dyes in a colour scheme of their choice, creating an intricate organic tangled design and using ink and shading techniques to achieve a stained glass effect. Required supplies will be provided and/or available for use in class.
